We particularly loved the generous continental breakfast and the charm of the restaurant, where the wait staff remained cheerful even during busy times. A perfect location with a peaceful pool area adds to the delightful experience.

i was almost impressed by this so-called 'motor inn', but let’s not gloss over the fact that my room’s balcony was essentially half a triangle, rendering it useless! oh, and the traffic noise? let's just say, sleep was a distant dream. i also expected a complimentary treat for this 'luxury' experience but got nada. shocked, truly shocked.

Had a fantastic stay at Colonial Palms Motor Inn! The rooms are spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the beautiful pool area, and outstanding breakfast options that included fresh fruit, toast, and coffee. The two pools provided a serene escape, making it feel like a tropical paradise right in Airlie Beach.

The Standard Double Room was spacious and clean, with a nice little balcony to enjoy my coffee. Bed and pillows were super comfy—had a really good sleep! The bathroom was roomy too, and everything looked well-maintained. The pool area left a nice vibe, but the walk from the main bus station was a bit steep if you're not driving.
